[Well, binding Death is kind of a no no and all especially if he's a real thing, but Sam. You're talking about worlds exploding, what on earth.]

I don't think chewing gum would work for us, but that's a nice thought.

Everything's going okay back home anyway, even if it's a little crazy right now. No more apocalypses or scary monsters trying to rule all of mankind.

Only some scary monsters trying to do that.

Honestly, as long as you don't have to run into any of the angels, demons, bad monsters, or hunters covering the globe, you should be fine.

But the keyword is covering, so it's kind of hard to avoid.

You make them all sound like pests.

Aren't hunters and angels meant to be nice?

[I mean for a given definition. She's leery of both given what one does and what one is, but...]

Some of them are kinda like pests.

[Not all of them. Sam knows very much that they are bona fide predators not to be trifled with. Demons, though. Some demons are very much pest-like in the way they act. Or you have chupacabras...]

There's good and bad people in every kind of group, right?

Some hunters — sometimes they're misled, or too stubborn to see things differently. And some are just as bad as the monsters. I'd want you to be careful if you ever ended up with hunters you didn't know, okay? Some are shoot first, think later.

Same with angels. They're less likely to outright attack, but they're dangerous, too.

Oh, I see. All the hunters are nice in my world, you know.

[Well, the specific fae hunting type are downright horrid. But if there are vampire hunters, they're probably okay.]

What do angels actually do? Do they really sit around on clouds with harps?

Well... It's kind of messed up right now. Before, they just did whatever they were told from older, higher-up angels. Sometimes the things they did weren't the nicest. They definitely don't sit around on clouds.

That said... some of them are good. Can definitely be good, and kind.

[She makes a face. Early obedient angels sound boring as hell. She bets she'd hate to meet them, too.]

Castiel's one of the nice ones?

Lucifer — he's an angel, you know. He and a bunch of other angels tried to end the world, but Cas stayed on our side and helped save people from them.

[Ah. Yeah. Lucifer. Totally haven't talked to him lately.

[He stops and considers that for a moment.]

No, I don't dream a lot lately. [The corner of his mouth quirks up a bit.] That's because of you, isn't it?

I can't do such a thing. Don't be silly.

{Said so deadpan. Though then she adds hopefully;] But if I could, is that all right?

[I mean, you can have your nightmares back if you really want them. She'd rather not, though. It's easy for her this way.]

Of course it's alright. It's something a hero would do, isn't it? Helping people? [He grins.] Or are you more of a villain type? The whole Badmean thing was a nice attempt. Too bad you're just too nice to be a badman.

[Oh well then, her face lights up with a relieved sort of smile. Good. Wonderful.]

I suppose it depends on what day it is. Sometimes villains have more fun, you know. Though I suppose I should be a hero to balance things out a bit for now.

Definitely. Just remember, villains usually get a crappy ending to their story. I'd rather you have a good one. With a lot of cheering and happy kingdoms; all of that.

Perhaps I could be a villain that slowly learns you have lots more friends if you just try being nice for a change. They still get cheering and kingdoms in the end.

Oh, yeah? That is a pretty interesting kind of story, isn't it; having the villain turn into a hero, I mean.

I don't know if it happens too often.

It happens just as much as it's meant to. But when it does, it always makes for the best story. Just about anyone can try being nice, you know, even if they were horrid before.

Ah. So there's always room for a bad guy to turn good, in your stories?

[flickerflash]

In all stories. Nothing's impossible, you know.

[She's giving you a beady look, Sam.

Possibly she's wondering if you think you're a Bad Guy.]

Sometimes Badmeans are just lying and really want a hug. [Pause.] Though I suppose you are sort of old.
